Sno Beach

Sadie has been in preschool 5 days a week all summer while I have been working, so we have not done as many fun summer activities as we did last year during the week. So, I decided to take her to Sno Beach for a snow cone after school the other day. It was in the 90's and sunny, perfect snow cone weather. Cashion was along for the ride and didn't seem to mind. I was so surprised that Sadie ate the whole thing! She usually takes a few bites of a treat and then is done, but this seemed to hit the the spot. She chose a combination of (sugar-free) pink lemonade, fruit punch and cherry.

4th of July

4th of July at the lake house is always relaxing and full of good food (thanks mom!) From the turkey sandwiches to the cheesy potatoes, and don't forget the desserts, we always say,"It just tastes better out here."

We donned are red, white and blue and stuffed our faces, as usual.

It won't be long before Cashion will be enjoying the delicious food and festivities.

Sadie overloaded on Disney movies, but that is what is great about having 2 TVs!

Another successful weekend at the lake, made possible by the ultimate hostess...my mom (or as you know her on this blog, Bebe.)

Hopefully we'll make it back out before Labor Day!

We are Family

Cashion got to meet lots of his family in the past month. First, we had a visit from Gramps and Mimi all the way from London. We celebrated Gramps' 60th birthday out in Lakeway with family from all sides.
4 generations of Swinney men: D.W., Matt, Cashion and Mike Swinney

Then, we headed to the lake house for the 4th and cousin Richard got to meet the little boy.
Finally, we got to visit with Stacy, Greg, Katelyn, Mason and Gracie for a few days.

They loved on Cashion and played with Sadie. Here they all are..."the cousins."

Love all of you guys! Come back soon.
